COしたのが15日なのでもう1ヵ月も経ってるのにまだ出来上がっていません。
The shawl Lunar Tide that I'm knitting with musicomusico (check out her blog! → ☆),
The last posting about this shawl was posted on September 20th. I started knitting this on 15th of September, so it has been a month but still not finished.
実は前回記事後、また全解きしてやり直しているのです。
Because I ripped it and restarted again.
今は目数が250を超えているので広げて写真を撮るのはちょっと難しいです。
2かせあるMadelinetosh SockのMicaをできるだけ多く使おうと、
パターンをアレンジしながら編んでいるのですが
それが思っていたよりややこしくなってしまって好みの形になってくれそうにないので
また目の増し方を計算しなおして（多分）4回目のCOで今に至ります。
The stitches are over 250 now.
Original pattern says it would only take 550 to 625 yards and I'm using Madelinetosh sock which is 395 yards per skein and I have 2 of those. I've been trying to modify the pattern to use up my Madelinetosh Sock as much as I can but it's little harder than I thought it would be.
I dind't like the shape of shawl with my first modification so I recalculated the increase of stitches and everything and CO again, for the 4th time!
Madelinetosh Sockは毛羽立ちが全くと言っていいほど無く、何度解いてやり直しても編地の表面は
すべすべのままです。 メリノウールですがどっちかと言うと感触はコットンに近いです。
程よい弾力性もあって編みやすい糸で、これから他の色も使ってみたいなと思っています。
I love Madelinetosh Sock! It doesn't get fuzzy at all no matter how many times you rip it and restart knitting (don't wanna rip so many times if I don't have to though) It says 100% merino but texture is more like cotton yarn with little bit of springy touch which makes great stitch definition.
端のレース部分に行くまでまだあと40段ほど編まないといけません。
しかも目数はまだまだ増えるので1段がとても長い。 musicomusicoさんはすでにボディ部分を
終えているのに私はだいぶ遅れをとっていてなんだか申し訳ないです。
とはいえ自分のペースで編むしかないので、焦らず集中していこうと思います。
I still need to work over 40 rows of body part to start the lace pattern increasing every other rows. It takes me 10 to 15 minutes just to finish 1 row! I hope I'll finish this by the weekend so I can CO my new cardigan.
